Fishing at Farlam Hall

Catch some relaxation

Get back to nature and lose track of time in the best possible way with a day’s fishing immersed in the peaceful, idyllic surroundings of Northern Cumbria.

Within two miles of Farlam Hall, you’ll find two trout fisheries; New Mills Trout Farm and Naworth. At New Mills Trout Farm, you can test your mettle against specimens like rainbow, blue, brown and tiger trout. At Naworth, you’ll fish from the banks of a ten-acre lake surrounded by mature woodland with a healthy stock of rainbow trout.

Or, if river fishing is more your speed, the Brampton Angling Association sells day and week permits at the local post office for fishing on the rivers Irthing, Gelt and King Water. Their waters are designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest and are all to be found in picturesque locations.
