Terms and Conditions for Room Reservations at Farlam Hall Hotel
By making a room reservation at Farlam Hall Hotel, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.
Payment Policy:
A credit or debit card is required to guarantee your reservation and a non-refundable deposit of £150 will be taken at the time of booking, with the remaining balance taken 7 days before arrival.
All major Credit and Debit cards, with the exception of Diners Cards, are accepted.
Cancellation Policy:
If your booking is cancelled before midday 7 days prior to arrival, the deposit paid will be retained and no further cancellation charges will apply.
If your booking is cancelled after midday 7 days prior to arrival, or in the case of a no-show, no monies will be refunded, therefore we do recommend you take out travel insurance to cover yourself in case of cancellation.
Bookings can be modified up to midday 7 days before arrival however deposits will only be transferred once with no penalty.

Reservation Modifications:
Any changes to your reservation, including changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type, are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Please contact our reservations department to request any modifications.
Check in/Check out:
Your room will be available from 3.00pm. We would kindly ask you to inform us if you expect to arrive later than 10.00pm.
On your day of departure the latest check out time is 11.00am.
Please note that early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Liability:
Farlam Hall Hotel is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safes provided for valuables.

Terms and Conditions for Table Reservations at Cedar Tree Restaurant

Upon making a reservation at The Cedar Tree by Hrishikesh Desai at Farlam Hall, you are agreeing to our booking terms and conditions. *Please be advised that certain Special Events supersede the general terms and conditions/cancellation policy, please contact the hotel for further information.*

For bookings of up to 5 guests, your credit card details will be required to secure your booking. No money will be taken at the time of booking. 

Your details are securely kept with a third party, and you will only be charged if you fail to notify us within the cancellation period below or fail to attend the restaurant on the date you have booked.

  • 50% of the menu price per person for cancellations within 48 hours of the booking.
  • 100% of the menu price per person for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking.

The cancellation charge is non-refundable however it may be transferred only once to a future reservation within a 6 month window. If the subsequent reservation is cancelled or not honoured then the full charge will be forfeited.

For bookings of 6-10 guests, a non-refundable deposit of £30 per person will be taken upon booking.  This deposit will be non-refundable under any circumstances but can be transferred only once to a future reservation within a 6 month window.  If the subsequent reservations is cancelled or not honoured then the full charge will be forfeited.

For bookings of 11 or more, this will be treated as a Group Booking and as such a 50% per person non-refundable deposit will be required upon booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your booking.  A copy of our full Group Leisure Terms and Conditions are available on request.

Online bookings can be made for a maximum of 6 guests.  For any larger table sizes then please contact a member of the team to make your reservation.

Children over 9 years old are welcome in The Cedar Tree restaurant, to ensure a relaxed dining experience for all guests.  Children of any age are welcome to dine with us in Bistro Enkel (Sunday-Tuesday), for Afternoon Tea (every Thursday) and Sunday Lunch.

Dress code in the Cedar Tree Restaurant is smart casual, we cannot accept guests wearing short trousers or flip flops, sliders, etc.

Upon making a reservation at Bistro Enkel at Farlam Hall, you are agreeing to our booking terms and conditions. *Please be advised that certain Special Events supersede the general terms and conditions/cancellation policy, please contact the hotel for further information.*

Allergens, Dietaries, Dislikes & Intolerances

In our aim to give you the best experience, our dishes are complex and have been developed using specific ingredients, skills, and timings to create a perfectly balanced flavour, with each dish being developed and refined until it is perfect.

We are therefore unable to adapt our dishes to cater for any dislikes or dietary restrictions which we feel compromise our vision and style of the menu, by removing ingredients such as onions, garlic, ginger, ground & whole spices, chillies, tomatoes, coconut, lemon. 

We are happy to cater for those guests who cannot tolerate any of the 14 main allergens but stress that all dishes are prepared in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked.  Although we follow best practice, we cannot guarantee the environment will be completely allergen free.

Suppliers of our dry ingredients also follow best practice to eliminate cross contamination of the allergens, but we cannot guarantee that their environment will be completely allergen free.

Please ensure that you inform us of any allergies (14 main allergens only) at least 72 hours prior to arrival as we are unable to cater for any unannounced dietary requirements.
