Afternoon Tea with Henry

Afternoon Tea with Henry

Enjoy a British tradition at Farlam Hall

Our exquisite Afternoon Tea is an experience to treasure, offering the finest selection of classic finger sandwiches, irresistible scones and delicate pastries crafted by our specialist pastry chef, with a Farlam twist!

'Afternoon Tea with Henry' is a unique experience featuring a handcrafted and delicious nod to our beloved hotel dog Henry, a delightfully sweet tribute to our most loyal host - almost too adorable to eat! Delve into the delightful rich chocolate shell, revealing a delicate mousse of lemon, lime and mango, creating a dessert of both artistry and balance.

Weather permitting, Afternoon Tea can be served in the serene garden terrace, surrounded by ancient trees and colourful blooms, or luxuriate in the ambience of the Cedar Tree restaurant, with full height windows offering lovely views across the gardens and ornamental lake.

To make the occasion even more special, you can add a glass of chilled Champagne, specially selected to compliment your Afternoon Tea menu, or let our knowledgeable team recommend the perfect Cocktail.

Afternoon Tea with Henry is priced at £40 per person and is served every Thursday from 1pm - 3pm.  Advance bookings are essential and we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours notice for bookings.

*Afternoon Tea vouchers with an expiry date up until the 22nd August 2026 are valid for our Classic Afternoon Tea only, and there will be a supplement of £5.00 per person if you would like to upgrade to our 'Afternoon Tea with Henry'.  Please confirm your preferred choice when booking.

Allergies and Intolerances

In our aim to give you the best experience, our dishes are complex and have been developed using specific ingredients, skills, and timings to create a perfectly balanced flavour, with each dish being developed and refined until it is perfect.

We are therefore unable to adapt our dishes to cater for any dislikes or dietary restrictions which we feel compromise our vision and style of the menu, by removing ingredients such as onions, garlic, ginger, ground & whole spices, chillies, tomatoes, coconut, lemon.

We are happy to cater for those guests who cannot tolerate any of the 14 main allergens but stress that all dishes are prepared in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked.  Although we follow best practice, we cannot guarantee the environment will be completely allergen free.

Suppliers of our dry ingredients also follow best practice to eliminate cross contamination of the allergens, but we cannot guarantee that their environment will be completely allergen free.

Please ensure that you inform us of any allergies (14 main allergens only) at least 72 hours prior to arrival as we are unable to cater for any unannounced dietary requirements.
