For those arriving by air, Newcastle International Airport is your gateway to Farlam Hall. Just a 45 minute drive away, this bustling hub handles commercial flights from across the globe, ensuring a smooth arrival.

If you prefer a more private journey, Carlisle Airport caters to private flights, and the exclusive helipad offers the ultimate convenience for those travelling by helicopter. Your tranquil escape begins the moment you touch down.  The team at Farlam Hall can happily arrange for private transfers directly to the hotel

Rail travel couldn't be easier as Carlisle sits on the West Coast line. In just three hours and a half minutes from London, two hours from Manchester and less than an hour and a half from Edinburgh or Glasgow, you'll find yourself transported to the serene beauty of Cumbria.

And of course if you prefer to bring your own car then getting here is straightforward too. We are located only 12 and a half miles east from Carlisle. The main north/south motorway, the M6, is only 10 miles away (via Junction 43 if travelling from the south or Junction 44 if travelling from the north). It is a 15 to 20-minute drive from either junction.
