Michelin Star

We are thrilled to announce that the Cedar Tree by Hrishikesh Desai has been awarded a much coveted Michelin star within our first year here at Farlam Hall!

This prestigious award arrives at the end of a successful 10 months, following three rosettes at the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards in October 2023, the Good Food Guide's 'Exceptional' list and our addition to the Michelin Guide in late 2023 with inspectors commenting "The restaurant offers Indian-influenced cooking in the form of a generous tasting menu or an a la carte, both showcasing British produce - including vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden - enhanced by skillful spicing. The service team is on the ball and ensures you are well looked after."

Hrishikesh, who along with fellow Director Karen Baybutt, have created a haven of hospitality together with an incredible gastronomic experience at Farlam Hall, said;

Of course, this is not an individual effort, the entire team Farlam Hall has contributed towards this wonderful accolade. Our guests, our suppliers & our well-wishers have supported us enormously & we are thankful to them.
