Arrive to a sumptuous Champagne Afternoon Tea and kick off the celebrations in style! Immerse yourself in the luxurious and classic surroundings of your home for the next few days, before joining us for a 3 course A la Carte dinner served in the Cedar Tree Restaurant.
New Year's Eve
Prepare for the day ahead with breakfast served in the Cedar Tree Restaurant, with cooked and continental options available. High ceilings and full height windows offer stunning views over the estate's lake and gardens. You never know we might even get snow!
Unwind and spend the morning enjoying the surroundings before a light lunch and cream tea is served. The afternoon is yours to prepare for the evening ahead. The team will be delighted to welcome you to dinner with a Champagne Reception, followed by a lavish 7 course Gala Dinner served with a bottle of Champagne, before we join you in a toast to celebrate the New Year!
New Year's Day
Breakfast this morning will be a leisurely affair where you can enjoy a brunch served in the Cedar Tree Restaurant.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing day or something a little more energetic, there are a wealth of experiences right on our doorstep. Step back in time with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall, or take a breath and enjoy the outstanding landscapes of the Northumberland National Park or the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, both only a short drive away or, closer to home, you can enjoy the lovely woodland and waterside walks at Talkin Tarn Country Park.
A traditional roast dinner will follow in the evening, followed by cheese and wine in the lounge to finish off the perfect start to a brand new year!
